Vintage dress from iconic designer Alfred Shaheen dates to the 1950's and is made of blue cotton. It features a painterly print of flowers and leaves that are highlighted with a gold screenprint. Shelf bust features wide vertical pleats along decollete. Detachable strap is fastened to the dress with buttons. Center back metal zipper. Partially lined in front bust.
Condition: Excellent with all of the elastic in the side back having been replaced.
Vintage party dress from Ben Reig dates to the 1950's and is made of cream-colored silk satin. Fitted bust features a squared neckline and wide straps. Knee-length skirt is fully covered with fringe. Waistband ties at side waist. Unlined. Side metal zipper. No size label.
Vintage cardigan dates to the 1950's and is made of black wool with a luxurious fur collar (we believe it to be dyed fox). Rhinestone closure at center front waist with coordinating rhinestone detailing at cuffs. Lined in lace with a chiffon overlay.

Vintage dress from Diane's of Honolulu dates to the 1950's and is made of a blue and white floral stripe print. Fitted throughout outside of a fishtail flounce at hem. Boat neck. Bow details at the center back at the top of the zipper and at the top of the flounce. Unlined. Center back metal zipper.
Vintage ensemble from Dorothy McNab dates to the 1950's and is made of olive green silk. Wrap-style bodice ties at waist with a drawstring and wraps around neck and ties at center back neck. Full skirt features a leaf print that has been screenprinted in gold and has a fitted waistband and side metal zipper. Skirt is lined; bodice is not.
Can fit a variety of sizes by moving the hook and eyes at the waistband of the skirt, but as is it is currently a size 6 US.
Vintage dress dates to the 1950's. It retailed at Polly's on Park Ave. and was designed by Evelyn Byrnes Inc. It is made from ivory cotton or cotton blend fabric with a green and orange floral print. Fitted bodice has front boat neck and scoop back neck. Diagonal gathering on wide waistband panel culminates in a fabric covered buckle at side waist. Skirt is gathered all around waist seam. Gauze lining. Center back metal zippered closure. Please note that this dress was not photographed with a crinoline underneath.

Dress can either be worn halter-style or strapless with the straps tied around the back. Bodice is lined. Skirt is not. Center back metal zipper. Dress was shown in the photograph with a crinoline underneath. This is not included in the purchase price.
Stunning gown and wrap from Beverly Hills designer Maxwell Shieff dates to the 1950's and is made of black and gold jacquard with a large-scale floral motif. Gown is fitted throughout outside of a fishtail hem. Dress is lined and has a center back zipper. Wide wrap could be worn a variety of ways.
Vintage anonymous ball gown dates to the 1950's and is made of multiple layers of cream silk organza. Silk satin waistband and skirt panels feature striking red cut velvet flowers with beaded detailing. Fitted bodice is strapless and features interior boning. Full skirt has crinoline sewn in at the waist that may have been added after the gown was made. Center back metal zipper. This is a very well-made gown that employed couture-like finishing and materials. Unfortunately no label is present.

Condition: Excellent. There is a very small hole in the top layer of the skirt. It is difficult to notice.
Vintage coat from Rudi Gernreich for Walter Bass dates to the 1950's and is made of camel-colored, double-faced wool. Single-breasted with center front button closure. 3/4-length sleeves. Interesting tie detail at bust.
Best suited for a size 4-6.
Condition: Excellent. Missing button, which would be an easy replacement.

Full skirt has volume that is created from pleats all around the waistband. It has a center back metal zipper and is fully lined with yellow synthetic lining. Dress is shown with a crinoline that is not included.

Vintage gown from Frank Starr likely dates to the late 1950’s to early 1960’s and is made of black crepe with black sequins sewn in a squiggle pattern that diminishes in density from top to bottom. Gathered black chiffon band starts at right under-breast and completely covers the left breast as it goes around the back. Band snaps at right back and cascades down almost to the hem. Fitted throughout. Unlined. Side metal zipper.
Vintage handbag is made of gold-toned filigree metal and likely dates to the middle of the 20th century. It has an Egyptian motif and is set with turquoise and coral. Strap is not likely original to the bag.
Vintage necklace from Miriam Haskell dates to the 1950's through 1960's and is comprised of a double strand of cream-colored baroque pearls with a cluster of large baroque pearls at the center neck. Rhinestones of various colors and sizes are prong-set in gold-toned metal filigree. Push lock closure at back is decorated with pearls. Necklace is stamped on the back of the clasp.
This lovely 1950's cocktail dress from Anne Fogarty is made out of navy silk taffeta and is tiered across the bust and on the skirt. It is unlined, has short sleeves, a low squared neckline in the front and back, full skirt formed from even pleating all around the waist, and a center back metal zipper.
