1960's Ensemble from Christian Dior was designed during Marc Bohan's tenure there. Oatmeal heather wool with white pearlized buttons. Double-breasted pea coat has wide lapel, decorative hip flaps, hip pockets that are hidden in side seams, and a Norfolk back. Mini dress is sleeveless, has mock neck, center back zip, and inverted center front pleat in skirt. Both pieces are labeled and fully lined.
Vintage cocktail dress from Donald Brooks dates to the 1960's and is made of black wool crepe and features faux pearl detailing at the neckline and down the center back bodice. There is gathering just under the bust in a V formation resulting in a slight fullness to the skirt. Long sleeves have zippered cuffs. Fully lined. Center back zipper with hook and eye closures at upper back. Although the Elizabeth Arden tag remains, the Donald Brooks tag is missing.

Space-age dress from Donald Brooks dates to the 1960's and is made of cream-colored silk satin. Wide bands of fabric are concentrically stitched around neckline, at cuffs, down center front, and around the hem. A-line skirt. Wide bell sleeves. Center front covered snap closures. Fully lined. Detached belt with same stitching.
Condition: Good to very good with the satin having marring throughout especially on the length of the left sleeve. The backing of the belt is cracked which has resulted in the belt no longer appearing smooth. These condition issues are reflected in the price.

Vintage gown and cape from Italian couture house Gattinoni dates to the mid 1960's. Gown is made of cream four ply silk and is adorned with exquisite trim made of woven raffia, rhinestones, faux pearls and beads. Floor length textured pink cape has a floral pattern, matching trim around the neck band, and rhinestone buttons. Dress is fully lined and has a center back zipper closure. Lined cape is labeled, dress is not. This dress was custom made for an Italian actress at the 1965 premiere of Thunderball.
Vintage bombshell cocktail dress from Gene Shelly dates to the 1950's through 1960's. It is made of ivory wool knit that is densely covered with gold sequins that are hand-sewn onto the knit. Scoop front and back neck. Sleeveless. Completely fitted throughout due to the nature of the knit. Unlined. Center back metal zipper. No size label.

Spectacular vintage bombshell gown from Gene Shelly dates to the 1950's though the 1960's. It is made of olive green wool knit that is entirely covered with iridescent green sequins that are hand-sewn onto the knit. Beaded fringe detailing at the sleeve cuffs and hem. Lightly scooped front neck with deep v-neck back. Elbow-length sleeves. Completely fitted throughout, due to the nature of the knit. Unlined. Center back metal zipper. No size label.

Condition: Excellent.Ãƒ"šÃ‚ Some loose/missing sequins throughout. This does not detract from the piece as the sequins are so dense.
Vintage cocktail dress from Geoffrey Beene dates to the 1960's. It is made of navy silk with an allover white polka-dotted print. Fitted bodice has round neck and long, tapered sleeves with pleated snap cuffs. Flared a-line skirt has same pleated detailing at hem. Center back zippered closure. Fully lined.

Condition: Dress is in excellent condition; however, the leather backing on the belt is cracking.

Vintage suit from Irene retailed at Bullocks and dates to the 1960's. It is made of navy blue gabardine with a small checkered pattern. Boxy jacket has diagonal seamed detailing, bronze-toned metal buttons, and 3/4-length sleeves. Straight skirt has a wrap look and is knee-length. Green chiffon scarf looks as though it was once connected at center back neck. Both pieces are lined.

Vintage feather hat from New York milliner Jack McConnell likely dates to the 1960's. It is made of iridescent green feathers that completely cover a black wool base. Remnants of the red feather on the back side of the tag identify this hat as being from Mr. McConnell's most exclusive line.
Vintage hat from Jack McConnell dates to an unknown era during the latter 20th Century. It is made of beige woven straw that has a wide band of white flowers that extend from the hat, some of which are adorned with rhinestones.
Vintage dress from La Mendola dates to the 1960's and is made of yellow silk with a polychromatic floral print. High front neck with v-neck back. Shift-style. Back zipper in skirt. Fully lined. No size label. Best suited for US 6-8.
Condition: Excellent. There are some light small stains throughout that get lost in the print unless upon close inspection. Wear consistent with age and use.

Vintage cocktail dress by Larrry Aldrich dates to the 1960's and retailed at Doris Scott. It made of black crepe that is adorned with black bugle beads in a squiggle pattern throughout. Round neck and short sleeves. Center back zipper. Fully lined in kelly green silk.
Condition: Excellent with a few loose beads throughout.

Manuel Pertegaz is a Spanish-born designer who opened his own fashion house in the early 1940's. His designs (along with those of Lanvin and Balenciaga, among others) were recently featured as a part of the exhibition, Barcelona Haute Couture, at The Palau Robert in Barcelona, Spain. One of his hats is owned by The Costume Collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. More recently (in 2004), he designed the wedding dress for of Letizia, Princess of Asturias.
