Vintage anonymous ball gown dates to the 1950's and is made of multiple layers of cream silk organza. Silk satin waistband and skirt panels feature striking red cut velvet flowers with beaded detailing. Fitted bodice is strapless and features interior boning. Full skirt has crinoline sewn in at the waist that may have been added after the gown was made. Center back metal zipper. This is a very well-made gown that employed couture-like finishing and materials. Unfortunately no label is present.

Condition: Excellent. There is a very small hole in the top layer of the skirt. It is difficult to notice.

Vintage cocktail or day dress from Chester Weinberg dates to the 1960's and is made of a black wool blend fabric that has a geometric pattern in three shades of pink. High neckline has a large center front bow. Patch pockets at front hips. Long sleeves with three buttons at the cuffs. Center front button closure. Lined.
Condition: Good. Some small moth bites that have not gone all the way through and are difficult to notice because of the pattern in the fabric. Please contact for additional photos.
Vintage dress from Spanish designer Don Luis de Espana dates to the 1970's and is made of a white synthetic jersey. Fabric features a bold floral print that is concentrated at the hem. A panel is attached to each back shoulder, which creates a dramatic effect. Unlined. Center back plastic zipper.
Vintage dress from Chloe dates to the 1970's through 1980's and was designed by Karl Lagerfeld. It is made of cream silk with a geometric diamond print in blue and black. Long sleeves with buttoned cuffs. Center front placket with five buttoned closures. Labeled vintage size 38. Unlined.

1980's couture dress from the boutique, "Miguez-Carton" in Cannes, France. Shirred front and back bodice. Spiderweb lace across top chest and down sleeves is decorated with black sequins and white satin rosettes. Diagonal peplum has body and stiffness and is lined with white taffeta. Back skirt vent. Center back zipper. Fully lined. This is an extremely high-quality, hand-finished dress that is reminiscent of Vicky Tiel's designs; however, no designer label is present.

Vintage dress from Kathryn Conover New York by Night dates to the 1980's and features a black bodice with a yellow notched collar. Black and white polka-dotted skirt has a narrow band of synthetic horsehair to give it volume. Detached wide belt has a velcro closure. Center front snap closure in bodice and wide hook and eye at waist. Fully lined. Dress is labeled a vintage size 4. Please refer to measurements below as sizes are not standardized.
Condition: Very Good with two faint spots on right lapel and 1/4" faint fabric flaw on right lapel. Pen mark on left skirt that is hidden by the pleat.
Vintage gown from Adolfo dates to the 1980's and is made of jet black velvet with black silk taffeta accents. Diagonal asymmetrical neckline with oversized ruffled shoulder. Slit in hem at left calf. Center back diagonal zipper. Fully lined.
Vintage dress from Alaia dates to the 1990's and is made of transparent black stretch lace with a taupe-colored slip attached at the center front and side seams. Ribbed trim around neckline, cuffs, and hem. No closures.

Lined except for throughout chiffon. Center back zipper with keyhole opening and looped button closure at neckline.

Fun cocktail dress from Bill Blass is made out of black floral lace that is over-embroidered with large gold leaves. Upper bodice and sleeves are made out of black netting with embroidered gold dots. Tulle "fan" extends up from collarbone towards the face. Round neck. Scalloped hem. Center back zipper with button closure at back neckline. Lined.
