Vintage dress likely dates to the 1930's and is made of black silk with orange accents. Beautiful and dramatic Chinese-inspired embroidery is worked in ombré thread and adorns the front and back. Unlined. Center front frog closures at neckline. Other than that, there are no closures.
Vintage dress dates to the 1940's and is made of blue rayon with a painterly floral print in shades of mauve, green, and white. Fitted bodice has short sleeves, a round neckline with a turned down collar that is tacked together at center front and keyhole openings in the front and back. Front neckline has gathered detailing on either side of keyhole opening. A-line skirt. Lightly padded shoulders. Side metal zipper closure and looped button closure at center back neckline. Unlined.
Condition: Excellent with the rayon having no fading and is evenly colored. We see no visible flaws.
Vintage dress dates to the 1940's and is made of teal rayon with a novelty figural print featuring urns with soldiers and Roman columns in turquoise, pink, white and black. Fitted bodice has v-neck with a shawl collar, center front looped button closures with teal plastic buttons with rhinestone detailing. Below knee-length skirt has three tiers. Center back metal zipper. Unlined. Rare larger size.
Condition: Very good with one of the rhinestones missing on the top button and the belt no longer being present. Additionally there are a few small yellowish spots on the white areas. The dress has been cleaned, but I did not spot clean for fear of removing the color around the spots.

Vintage dress dates to the 1950's was made by Rima of London. It is made of silk chiffon with diagonal stripes that resemble water colors in bold jewel tones of pink, blue, green, and goldenrod. Fitted bodice has over-layer with a round neck, keyhole opening at center back, and gathering at the center front waist. Fitted skirt also has overlay of fabric that is pleated all along waistband and has a slit in the center front that extends from the waist to the hem. Fully lined with synthetic fabric. Center back metal zipper.
Condition: Very good with a some scattered small holes in the chiffon, one of which was pointed out in the photo, and another which is a result of a run in the fabric, gets lost in the folds at the center waist.

Vintage ensemble from Dorothy McNab dates to the 1950's and is made of olive green silk. Wrap-style bodice ties at waist with a drawstring and wraps around neck and ties at center back neck. Full skirt features a leaf print that has been screenprinted in gold and has a fitted waistband and side metal zipper. Skirt is lined; bodice is not.
Can fit a variety of sizes by moving the hook and eyes at the waistband of the skirt, but as is it is currently a size 6 US.
Vintage dress from Cathay Imports Limited dates to the 1960's and is made of a heavy cream fabric (most likely a synthetic or synthetic blend. Fabulous wide band of beaded fringe trim features seed beads, pearls, rhinestones, and larger faceted beads. High front neck with back v-neck. 3/4-length sleeves. Center back zipper. Fully lined. No size label.
Condition: Very good with a few faint stains throughout and some staining on the lining that does not show through.

Vintage party dress dates to the 1960's and is entirely covered with iridescent sequins and silver seed beads over an iceberg blue chiffon. Fitted throughout. Scoop front and back bodice. Short sleeves are edged with three tiers of looped beaded fringe. Bands of silver seed beads trim the waist, sleeves, and neckline. Fully lined with what feels to be blue silk. Center back zipper. Unlabeled, but clearly a high quality piece.
Condition: Excellent with few loose beads throughout and some missing beading which is barely noticeable do to the density of the beading.

Vintage dress and sweater ensemble was made by Italian designer Anna Giovannozzi and features a cream knit ground that is completely covered with iridescent sequins. Sleeveless dress has round neck and is fitted throughout. Waist-length sweater has a single center front button closure and 3/4-length sleeves. Dress is lined and has center back zippered closure. Sweater is unlined.

Vintage dress dates to the 1970's and is made of a synthetic jersey with a floral print. Black ground with tropical hues of pinks, grays, greens, blues, oranges, and yellows. Long, triangular angel wing sleeves. V-neck. Asymmetrical hem dips at center front and center back. Unlined. Very sheer. No closures.

Vintage ensemble dates to the 1970's and is made of mauve silk with a butterfly and leaf print that was designed by R. Meciani. Halter top ties at back neck and back waist. Skirt features handkerchief hem and ties at side waist. Both pieces are unlined and have hand-rolled edges.
This ensemble was either made of Gucci fabric by a excellent seamstress, or was made by Gucci and is missing the label. No size label.
Condition: Excellent. There are a few small stains in the skirt (as shown in the last photo), but are difficult to notice because of the folds in the skirt.
Vintage dress from Kathryn Conover New York by Night dates to the 1980's and features a black bodice with a yellow notched collar. Black and white polka-dotted skirt has a narrow band of synthetic horsehair to give it volume. Detached wide belt has a velcro closure. Center front snap closure in bodice and wide hook and eye at waist. Fully lined. Dress is labeled a vintage size 4. Please refer to measurements below as sizes are not standardized.
Condition: Very Good with two faint spots on right lapel and 1/4" faint fabric flaw on right lapel. Pen mark on left skirt that is hidden by the pleat.
Vintage gown from Saz dates to the 1980's and is made of beige silk chiffon that is entirely covered with black and white sequins that are arranged in an Art Deco-esque geometric pattern. Round neck. Long batwing sleeves. Elasticized waistband. Center back zippered closure in skirt with hook and eye closures along the spine. Fully lined. No size label, but we would estimate approximately a size 2-4.

Vintage dress from Tracy Feith dates to the 1990's and is made of silk with an ikat weave in tones of blue, green, and purple. Fitted bodice has ruched crisscross neckline with a black lace insert at center front. Flared skirt is gathered all around the waistline and has a ruffled hem. Center back zippered closure. Structured bodice is lined; skirt is not.
Labeled a size 1, which is suitable for a contemporary US size 2.
Vintage gown from Adolfo dates to the 1980's and is made of jet black velvet with black silk taffeta accents. Diagonal asymmetrical neckline with oversized ruffled shoulder. Slit in hem at left calf. Center back diagonal zipper. Fully lined.

Vintage evening gown from Bob Mackie dates to the 1980's and is made of nude stretch netting that is adorned with sinuous bands of silver bugle beads, cream sequins, and pearls. Gown has long sleeves with zippered cuffs, a mock neck, and is fitted throughout. Front hem curves upwards into a high slit on the left leg. Fully lined. Center back zipper. Labeled a vintage size 6. Please refer to measurements, as sizes have changed over the years.
Condition: Excellent with a repair at the top of the slit that is visible upon inspection. Pin tuck on left back is weak and needs to be stabilized.
