Bands of silver metallic beaded stripes trim the dress at neck and hem. Elasticized waistband gives a blouson silhouette. Edges are trimmed in ivory chiffon triangles.

Glass seed and bugle beads in various bright colors are formed into amoeba-like shapes as well as curving lines, zigzags, and arrows. Edges of both pieces are covered with a band of black bugle beads. Fitted dress has scoop neck, spaghetti straps, and center back zipper. Long-sleeved jacket is loose fitting and has no closures. Condition:Ãƒ"šÃ‚ GoodÃƒ"šÃ‚ withÃƒ"šÃ‚ some faint marks in the skirt, but it is not readily noticeable unless you are looking for them. Additionally darts in the back bodice have been released and because of the nature of the fabric, it is noticeable.

Interesting and unusual beading employs black glass seed beads, black bugle beads, and paisley-shaped clusters of transparent multicolored faceted glass beads of varying sizes in the style of Coppola e Toppo. Gathering at front neckline and waistband. Bias cut skirt. Zippered cuffs. Center back zipper. Shoulder pads. Unlined.

Condition: Excellent. This dress may have been shortened slightly, but there is a few inches of fabric at the hem if one wanted to let it out.

Vintage gown and cape from Italian couture house Gattinoni dates to the mid 1960's. Gown is made of cream four ply silk and is adorned with exquisite trim made of woven raffia, rhinestones, faux pearls and beads. Floor length textured pink cape has a floral pattern, matching trim around the neck band, and rhinestone buttons. Dress is fully lined and has a center back zipper closure. Lined cape is labeled, dress is not. This dress was custom made for an Italian actress at the 1965 premiere of Thunderball.
