Vintage ensemble from Issey Miyake's Flower Pleats Series dates to his Spring/Summer 1990 collection. It is made of 100% heat set polyester with a brown and black woodgrain print. Large sculptural circular forms are created on blouse and skirt with discs in the fabric, from which the fabric radiates. No closures on the blouse. Skirt has side button closure.

Labeled size Medium, but would be better suited for a small as the skirt's waist is fixed (although button could be moved to add an inch or two to the waist).
Issey Miyake ensemble is made out of his signature pleated fabric with a beautiful horizontal ombré effect that ranges from charcoal gray to a very light gray. The single-breasted blouse/jacket has a three button closure and v-neck with notched lapel. Straight skirt is ankle-length and has elasticized waistband. Unlined.

Pieces of black braided jute anchor gathers throughout the dress and have ends that are left hanging. Handkerchief hem. Unlined. No closures.
Issey Miyake Artist Series No. 3- Tim Hawkinson is made of cream pleated polyester. No closures. Unlined. New with tags. Labeled a size 4, but please refer to measurements as it would fit a wide variety of sizes. Jumpsuit was not pinned on mannequin.
Minimalist sweater dress from Issey Miyake dates to the 1990's. Bodice is made of black wool that is finely knit and is connected to the skirt by weaving the yarn through small holes in the skirt's waistline. V-neck with stand collar. Straight skirt is pleated and is ankle-length. No closures.
Dainty necklace and earring set dates to the late 20th Century and is made of blue and clear Italian blown glass. Necklace centerpiece consists of transparent leaves that are attached by wire that is wrapped in silk or rayon yarn. Earrings consist of clusters of leaves that extend upwards. Earrings labeled Italy.
Vintage hat from Jack McConnell dates to an unknown era during the latter 20th Century. It is made of beige woven straw that has a wide band of white flowers that extend from the hat, some of which are adorned with rhinestones.
Silk scarf from Jacques Estérel circa 1970's features a graphic floral print in mustard, yellow, lilac, light blue, and pale gray. Long edges are rolled and hand-stitched. Short edges have fringed finish.
Stunning statement necklace from Jan Pomianowski is comprised of nuggets of Baltic amber and amethyst along with pearls that are set in polished sterling silver.

Vintage dress from English designer Janice Wainwright dates to the 1970's and is made of a jewel-toned green jersey with green velvet 1920's-inspired details. Long sleeves have slight batwing shaping and velvet trimmed snap cuffs. Flared drop waist skirt can be worn belted or without. Hook and eye closure at neckline can be worn fastened or unfastened. Unlined. No additional closures.

Gorgeous bomber jacket is made from a vintage Japanese embroidered Uchikake wedding kimono. It is fashioned of cream hammered silk with densely embroidered cranes that are worked in a metallic gold thread. The crane is a symbol of luck, longevity, and fidelity. Fully lined. Center front zipper.
Vintage formal gown from Jean-Louis for I. Magnin dates to the 1960's and is made of black and red silk jacquard with a large floral print. Fitted bodice has a boat neck and scoop back with 3/4-length sleeves. Full skirt is pleated around the waistband and has a narrow back tie. Center back zipper. Unlined.

Show-stopping gown from Jean Louis is made out of fire engine red silk chiffon. Fitted bodice has ruching that emanates from scoop neck. Wide waistband extends from just under the bust to below the waistline and is highly gathered. Straight skirt is gathered all along waistband. Long sleeves with snap cuffs. Lined throughout except for in sleeves.
Statuesque gown from Jean Muir dates to the 1970's. It is made out of black jersey crepe with minimal stretch. Bodice has round neckline and is fitted throughout the ribcage where it has vertical pintucked details. Extra wide batwing sleeves taper at button cuffs. Front and back yoke. Floor-length skirt is pleated around waistband. Center front mother-of-pearl button closure. Bodice is partly lined; skirt is not.
Vintage Jean Muir jacket dates to the late 1970's through the early 1980's and is made of black suede with gold leather strips that are appliqued in a bold geometric pattern. Center front buttoned closure. Unlined.
