Mimi Di N belt or necklace circa 1974. Gold-toned discs of varying sizes are stamped and textured to represent sand dollars. Held together by chain links. Each disc is stamped "Mimi Di N 1974". Very versatile accessory.

About the designer-
Mimi di Niscemi was born in Palermo, Italy. She studied at the Philadelphia Museum School of Industrial Arts which allowed her to work part-time for a jewelry manufacturer who produced Schiaparelli jewelry. Her skill afforded her the opportunity to work with Dutch silversmith Rudolph Broom at the Wichita Art Association. She won a scholarship to the School of Applied Arts in Paris. In the 1950s she formed a partnership with Arnold Scaasi and produced pieces marked Jewels by Scaasi. In 1959 she joined Robert DeMario but soon moved to the New York bead house Brania where she made jewels marked Brania/Mimi di N. She opened her own jewelry firm in 1960 in New York City. She is still in business. and her pieces are marked Mimi di N.

Vintage sleeveless coat from Missoni dates to the 1970's and is made of a green double-faced wool. The exterior is a textured houndstooth pattern in green, white, and navy blue. Lining has same color palette, but in a striped pattern instead. Capelet is attached at neckline and extends to nearly elbow-length. Detached waist belt is the only closure.
1970's sweater coat from Missoni. Brown, blue, and tan plaid wool. Ribbed cuffs and trim are made from brown knit. Patch pockets at hips. Hook and eye closure at center front neckline with tie. Unlined.
Vintage gown from Missoni is made of gray metallic lurex with a floral motif and has caftan-like styling. Gown is made of two rectangles of fabric (front and back panels) that are stitched along the body lines to create a form fitting dress. Unlined. No closures outside of detached waist sash. Labeled a vintage size 44.
Gerda Lynggaard for Monies oversized necklace is made of wood and leather. It features pendants of varying shapes and textures that get smaller the closer it gets to the back clasp. Black leather strand accents. Unsigned.
Cream blouse from Moschino's Cheap & Chic label features a graphic dartboard/bullseye print in saturated hues of yellow, red, and black. Blouse has a round neck, center front placket with covered buttons, and long sleeves with black and yellow checkerboard cuffs. Hip pockets at side seams. Unlined. Center front vent starts where the placket ends, but could easily be tacked closed to make this a mini dress. Blouse is 100% rayon. Labeled a size IT 46, FR 42, GB 14, US 12.
Vintage Moschino Faux Leopard coat dates to the 1990s and is made of a poly-rayon blend. Single breasted with turn down collar and four center front button closures. Heart cutouts in buttons. 18 1/2" center back vent. Hip pockets in side seams. Fully lined. No size label.
