Late 1970's suit from Yves Saint-Laurent is made of multicolored wool challis woven in an abstract pattern. Jacket is edged with eggplant velvet that has lines of straight stitching, toggle front closure, round neck, and a boxy cut. Skirt has areas of pleats that are separated by flat panels. Wide satin band trims the top of the gown and features concentric stitching. Side covered button closure. No size label, but we estimate it to be a size 2-4.
