Vintage dress from "A Pomette Fashion" dates to the 1950's. It is made of navy fabric with an allover polkadot and abstracted floral print. Velvet shawl collar and buttons. Fitted throughout. Center front button closure. Unlined.
Condition: Very good with fading of velvet on shoulders and side seam at right underarm needing to be resewn.
1950's bombshell dress and bolero ensemble is fashioned out of brown cotton printed with images of butterflies and various types of leaves. Dress has a v-neck, short sleeves, fitted bodice, full skirt, and side metal zipper. Form-fitting bolero has button front, 3/4-length sleeves, and turn down collar with keyhole opening at center front. Both pieces are unlined. Please note that this dress was photographed with a crinoline that is not included.
Condition: Very good with some stress where a few of the seams meet on the dress and a short area at the center front neckline where it has been stitched shut to lessen the severity of the plunging neckline. Neither are noticeable unless you are searching for it.
Vintage dress from iconic designer Alfred Shaheen dates to the 1950's and is made of blue cotton. It features a painterly print of flowers and leaves that are highlighted with a gold screenprint. Shelf bust features wide vertical pleats along decollete. Detachable strap is fastened to the dress with buttons. Center back metal zipper. Partially lined in front bust.
Condition: Excellent with all of the elastic in the side back having been replaced.
Vintage dressÃƒ"šÃ‚ dates to the 1950's through the early 1960's. It is made of a neutral-colored fabric with an ethnic batik-esque print with brightly-colored sequins and beading throughout. Sleeveless bodice has boat neck. Fitted throughout. Bust darts are high; appears to be custom-made for someone with a short torso. Lined. Center back metal zipper.
Vintage wiggle dress from the 1950's is made of black satin (silk or synthetic) with a multicolored butterfly pattern. It features a mock neck that is Cheongsam-like; however, it instead has texture from the use of pleats to shape the asymmetric neckline. Sleeveless. Lined. Center back zipper.
Vintage day dress dates to the late 1940's through early 1950's and is made of periwinkle rayon with a multicolored scratchy floral print. Fitted bodice with short sleeves. Full skirt is pleated at waistband. Half center back plastic zipper with a side metal zip. Unlined. Please note that this dress is not shown with a petticoat.
Fabulous little black dress from costume designer Burton Miller dates to the 1950's. It is made of black silk taffeta with a lace underskirt. Fitted bodice is sleeveless, has a center front bow at the waistline and sweetheart neckline. Full skirt is gathered all around waistband and features a built in underskirt . Center back metal zipper. Lined.
1950's dress from Vanina is a custom-made piece that was fashioned of high-quality black lace with iridescent blue sequined accents throughout. Sleeveless dress has a squared scoop neck, fitted bodice, full skirt, and center back zipper. Bolero has 3/4-length sleeves, v-neck, and center front hook and eye closure. Both pieces are fully lined. Label reads- "Vanina Paris, 74 Champs Elysées, Balzac 45-40". Please note this garment was shown with a petticoat that is not included.
Vintage dress from Diane's of Honolulu dates to the 1950's and is made of a blue and white floral stripe print. Fitted throughout outside of a fishtail flounce at hem. Boat neck. Bow details at the center back at the top of the zipper and at the top of the flounce. Unlined. Center back metal zipper.
Vintage Hawaiian dress dates to the 1950's through 1960's and is made of cotton with a blue geometric print. Fitted bodice has elasticized sides and removable halter strap. Full skirt has inverted pleats all around waistband for optional volume. No closures. Lined only in bodice. There is no manufacturer's tag, only a tag that identifies the dress as having been made in Hawaii.
Condition: Excellent with the elastic in the bodice sides having been restored.
1950's dress is made out of multicolored plaid taffeta in a striped pattern. Fitted bodice has black velvet turn down point collar, and bell-shaped raglan sleeves with wide cuffs. Full skirt is gathered around waist. Center front covered button closure. Unlined. This dress is not shown with a crinoline, but could be worn with one for a more period-accurate look.
Condition: Excellent with wear to the fabric on the Yellow (second to the top) button; damage can be seen in first pic.
Vintage pake muu from "Noel of Hawaii" dates to the 1950's. It is made of light turquoise cotton with a gold leaf screenprint. Keyhole neckline with frog closure at center front. Wide sleeves have bright red lining which adds a brilliant contrast. Side zipper. Labeled a size 20. Please refer to measurements for exact sizing.

Gorgeous cocktail dress and bolero are the perfect pair for an evening out. Dress has center back metal zipper and is unlined. Jacket is lined and has no closures although there are two bound buttonholes at the waist.
Vintage ensemble from Dorothy McNab dates to the 1950's and is made of olive green silk. Wrap-style bodice ties at waist with a drawstring and wraps around neck and ties at center back neck. Full skirt features a leaf print that has been screenprinted in gold and has a fitted waistband and side metal zipper. Skirt is lined; bodice is not.
Can fit a variety of sizes by moving the hook and eyes at the waistband of the skirt, but as is it is currently a size 6 US.
Vintage cocktail ensemble dates to the 1950's and has a tag which reads, "Vanina, Paris 74 Champs-Elysees- Balzac 45-40". Both pieces are made of gray faille with cream-colored sequined and beaded appliques. The double-breasted jacket has a notch lapel and 3/4-length sleeves. Sleeveless dress has a scoop neck and is fitted throughout with a center back metal zipper. Jacket is lined. Dress is not. All interior seams on the dress are hand-whipstitched.
Condition: Very good with some stress on the dress darts. Beading and sequins are in excellent condition on both pieces. The jacket has someÃƒ"šÃ‚ fading on the side arms.
1950's two-piece ensemble from Klein is made out of black silk taffeta. Fitted bodice has scoop neck with keyhole opening, a pleated beige organza removable insert, and puffy sleeves. Skirt is fully pleated. Bodice and skirt both have center back zipper. Both pieces are unlined.
