Antique tea dress dates to the Edwardian Era from the beginning of the 20th Century through the Teens. It is made of white cotton with hand-embroidery and openwork throughout the bodice, at waistband, cuffs, and hem. Fitted bodice has pintucked detailing, ruffle collar, and 3/4-length sleeves. Center back button closure. Unlined.
Condition: Very good with a missing button and a faint stain on the front skirt. This dress could likely benefit from a soaking in Biz or Oxyclean
Vintage homemade dress dates to the 1960's and features figural patchwork applique. A large colorful donkey carrying a bouquet of flowers in his mouth adorns the front. Mice are appliqued on the right sleeve, and the left sleeve features ribbon latticework. Front yoke is made of red calico print and has two ceramic decorative buttons. Unlined.
