Ankle length skirt has chiffon over layer that is gathered all around waistband and is open in center front. Fully lined except for in sleeves. Center back zipper. Labeled 100% pure silk. Made in India by House of Arts.

Vintage dress dates to the 1950's. It retailed at Polly's on Park Ave. and was designed by Evelyn Byrnes Inc. It is made from ivory cotton or cotton blend fabric with a green and orange floral print. Fitted bodice has front boat neck and scoop back neck. Diagonal gathering on wide waistband panel culminates in a fabric covered buckle at side waist. Skirt is gathered all around waist seam. Gauze lining. Center back metal zippered closure. Please note that this dress was not photographed with a crinoline underneath.
