Vintage cape likely dates to the 1970's to the 1980's and is made of black satin that is covered with rows of black marabou feathers. Longer feathers trim neckline and down center front. Fully lined. 1980's couture dress from the boutique, "Miguez-Carton" in Cannes, France. Shirred front and back bodice. Spiderweb lace across top chest and down sleeves is decorated with black sequins and white satin rosettes. Diagonal peplum has body and stiffness and is lined with white taffeta. Back skirt vent. Center back zipper. Fully lined. This is an extremely high-quality, hand-finished dress that is reminiscent of Vicky Tiel's designs; however, no designer label is present.
